Dr. Keenan, a native of Newry, Co. Down, has been serving Galway, Mayo and the surrounding communities since 1999.
He received his Dental degree from Queen's University Belfast in 1992. He then worked in private general dental practice until 1997 before pursuing his post graduate orthodontic studies in America at the University of Iowa.
He graduated from the University of Iowa Orthodontic Program in 1999 and is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
He is an INVISALIGN® CERTIFIED PROVIDER and specialises in early treatment for his younger patients and orthognathic surgery for adult patients.
Dr. Keenan is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Irish Academy of American Graduate Dental Specialists, the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and the Irish Dental Association. Dr. Keenan, his wife, Michelle, and their three children, Conor, Ciara, and Amy live in Barna, Co. Galway.
Dr. Keenan's favourite activities are coaching his son's soccer team Barna Utd, and playing the occasional game of golf.
